Room was clean upon arrival! Parking was my main issue - I arrived on a Saturday night so had park a good ways away to walk down the busy road to get there in the dark with my luggage! - (My fault I didn’t read to the end of listing) to see parking could be an issue on weekends! However, the Host was available right away to guide me there! If traveling to stay there and fish etc- would be fine! Note - It can get loud till late at night due to restaurant traffic and band etc…. But otherwise a cute place!

Great little weekend getaway! Finding reasonably priced places at the beach to stay is nearly impossible, especially if you need a pet-friendly place, so we were excited to find this place. It's super close to Emerald Isle, but we really fell in love with the ability to walk to downtown Swansboro in about 5 minutes! There are plenty of stores and restaurants to eat nearby. The staff at Swansboro Paddle next door were incredibly polite and welcoming. What an awesome deal to be able to rent 2 kayaks for free! We also used the pontoon boat taxi to Shark Tooth Island. I was just so pleased with the small-town feel of the people here, which is rare in today's electronic world of self-absorbed people. Marc's place was very clean, even for my picky standards. There were planty of towels available. Even though we were in a storefront, I felt like we had enough privacy with the blackout curtains. Some downsides to this place, just for people's honest assessment for if this is the right place for you... It is true that the parking can be difficult, which is common period in downtown Swansboro. The lot is very small and often fills up with people visiting the public Bicentennial Park there. It was a little noisy at times due to some people who had too much to drink that night, being as that it's next to a bar/restaurant, but that could happen anywhere to be fair. And I will say that there's nowhere to hardly hang wet swimsuits, which was annoying. And only 1 sink.

Loved this place

We had a fabulous stay! My only caution is you are two doors down from a bar, and when we were there they did play music outside until about 10:15. That’s no issue for most people on vacation, but I was traveling with my sisters who are very early to rise and early to bed. If you have a very large vehicle, you may have to park in the lot behind the property rather than right in front of the room. Marc was amazingly quick to respond, friendly, and helpful. I would love to return!
